Get Active in Wolverhampton (ATF)

The Active Through Football programme aims to support local people in changing behaviour and become physically active through the means of football-based activity.  It is funded through the Football Foundation and Sport England.

Through community engagement, the programme offers a variety of physical activity sessions for local people to attend. This helps with increasing activity levels for people aged 18+ and promote behavior change by improving and maintaining physical activity levels.

For more information on current sessions please contact Liam Turner on 07483 446404 or LiamTurner@wolves.co.uk

Building Brighter Futures is a project to help improve physical health & wellbeing, financial wellbeing and increase employability across Wolverhampton. Funded by the Premier League, Professional Footballer’s Association and City of Wolverhampton Council, the project provides local support for members of the community who need it most.

Kick Off

Kick Off is a Wolves Foundation initiative designed to increase access to free, recreational football for adults across Wolverhampton. The programme focuses on breaking down barriers to physical activity by mapping areas of low provision and providing fun, informal sessions, including small‑sided games and tailored groups such as Women’s Football, Walking Football, and sessions for Care Leavers and the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition to on‑pitch activity, Kick Off offers bespoke support to grassroots football clubs, helping them strengthen their off-field operations through guidance on areas such as volunteer management and CPD.
