Aligned with the new Wolves Foundation 2025–2030 strategy, the Youth Engagement department is committed to creating stronger, safer communities where local residents feel more secure, confident and supported. Operating seven days a week, the Youth Engagement team delivers a different programme which is made up of year-round sessions for young people aged 8–18, ensuring consistent opportunities for guidance, personal development and positive engagement.
These sessions take place across a wide range of settings including community spaces, schools, youth hubs and partner venues throughout the city, making the support easily accessible to young people wherever they live or learn. By offering everything from mentoring and sports activities to creative workshops and targeted intervention programmes, the team aims to empower young people, reduce barriers to participation and help them build the skills they need to thrive.
Through this citywide approach, the Youth Engagement department not only provides safe spaces for young people to develop socially and emotionally, but also works closely with families, schools and community partners to create a joined up network of support that strengthens the wider community.
Premier League Inspires is a targeted personal development programme funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund and supported by the PFA. The initiative is designed to empower young people, helping them build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to achieve the best possible future.
Through a blend of engaging workshops and practical activity-based sessions, we work closely with schools to support selected groups of students. This successful programme harnesses the unique influence of Wolverhampton Wanderers to inspire, motivate, and mentor young people in partnership with your school.

Delivery Model
Our team will work in your school for the full academic year (36 weeks), delivering one full day per week (4–5 hours) of high-quality, impactful provision.

Premier League Kicks is a free programme funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund. It uses the reach and appeal of the Premier League and its network of professional football clubs to engage children and young people from all backgrounds and abilities in regular football activities.
Our sessions are open to everyone, whether it’s their first time playing or they already play regularly. We facilitate fun, inclusive football games and matches for all participants.
While many young people attend simply to enjoy football, these sessions also provide a safe and welcoming space to connect with our Youth Workers, meet new people, and build lasting friendships.
We run sessions at various venues across Wolverhampton and the surrounding area, and they are completely free to attend. If a young person would like to join, all they need to do is come along with an adult (Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Anyone 12 or over is welcome to attend independently) complete a consent form, and they can start playing straight away.
Premier League Kicks provides young people (8-18 years) with a safe place to relax, play football and meet new people.
Funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund, Kicks helps us create safer, stronger communities by using football as a vehicle to engage vulnerable 8-18 year-olds in Wolverhampton.
The Wolves Foundation host several Kicks hubs around the city to offer free and accessible football. PL Kicks participants can also access opportunities like our youth voice group – Action Pack, Wolves matchday ball crew, tournaments, competitions and workshops.

Our Wolf Pack Youth Hub session will take place from 1–4pm, with the entrance located outside the Wolves Museum. Please note that no food will be provided, so attendees should bring their own nut-free snacks. Parents are unable to stay during the session, so arrangements should be made accordingly. As this is not a practical session, children should wear appropriate, comfortable footwear such as trainers to ensure they are at ease throughout.
Is the session private or can I just turn up?
The sessions are pre-booked sessions, if we have availability you can sign up on the day but this is at the Wolves Foundations discretion. Before we can allow your child to participate within the session they must sign up via our form so the data can be captured. We do not allow children who have not signed up access to the session.
Where is the drop off and pick up location?
Session maps and plans for each venue are available. These differ by location, so please ensure you familiarise yourself with the relevant site before arrival.
Are parents allowed to stay and watch?
Parents are welcome to watch; however, you must remain outside the session perimeter, and no verbal communication with participants is allowed during the session.
Do I need to bring any food for my child?
Yes. Please provide your child with water or an appropriate drink for the session.
We also recommend supplying snacks or a packed lunch depending on the session length. Breaks will be built into the session to allow time for refreshments.
What does my child need to wear?
All participants must dress appropriately for physical activity/ the planned session. This includes suitable footwear (no sliders) and protective shin pads. If rain is forecast, please ensure your child has a raincoat or jacket and clothing suitable for the predicted weather. If it is sunny please provide suncream and protective clothing such as caps.
What happens to my child’s belongings?
We don’t encourage anyone to bring anything of any value. A designated area will be available for bags and jackets, but all belongings are left at the participant’s own risk.
Is there any toilet facilities?
The majority of our locations do not have any toilet facilities, please consider this and plan accordingly. If your child needs the facilities during the session, the Wolves Foundation staff cannot facilitate this request as they cannot leave the session. If your child needs the toilet during the session, staff cannot accompany them, as they must remain with the group and we do not permit lone working.
Am I allowed to take photographs of my child?
We politely ask that no photographs are taken during the session. Not all participants have given consent to be photographed, and this ensures everyone’s privacy is protected.
My child doesn’t like dogs how will you police this?
As the sessions are within open public spaces, the team do police the area and ensure that only those signed up participate and are within the space. Please note as we are in open public areas, we cannot have full control over animals or other members of the public. The Foundation team will do their best to mitigate any risk however we cannot take full responsibility for this.
Can I take my child before the session ends?
Please do not just remove your child without alerting a member of staff. If you wish to remove your child from the session before the session has ended, you must alert a member of the Wolves Foundation and let them know that you are leaving early so that this can be noted down on the register and recorded appropriately for safeguarding reasons.

The Strike a Change programme is delivered in partnership with the Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust and six Midlands football clubs: Wolves, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Coventry City, Walsall and West Bromwich Albion.
Its core aim is to create meaningful opportunities for young people who may be disengaged in some areas of their lives, but who have a passion for football and would benefit from positive mentorship and a diverse learning experience.
Targeting students in Years 9 and 10, the programme runs across the full academic year and provides weekly sessions that combine a structured workshop with a practical football component. By harnessing the students’ enthusiasm for the sport, we blend onpitch activity with engaging, relevant educational workshops designed to support their personal and social development.
Each module is shaped by the ‘Cyrille Standard’—a set of values inspired by Cyrille Regis, built around Character, Resilience, Integrity, Learning, Leadership and Endurance. The academic year is divided into themed modules based on these values, with each term culminating in an Activation Day. These events are hosted by one of the participating Midlands clubs and feature a guest speaker linked to the current learning theme, along with a football tournament where schools compete to become Strike a Change champions.
A distinctive strength of the project is how it unites all six clubs in a collaborative approach to youth development. The year concludes with a graduation event celebrating the achievements of the cohort, where participants receive a recognised certificate and take part in a final tournament competing for the historic Regis Shield.

Wolf Pack – Youth Hub is a new programme designed to give young people aged 8–12 a safe, fun and supportive space at Molineux where they can spend time with friends, enjoy the football and take part in a wide range of onsite activities.
Opening its doors once a month on a Sunday, the hub aims to create a welcoming environment where children can build confidence, learn new skills and feel part of the Wolves community. Alongside football viewing, participants will have access to creative workshops, games, sports sessions and social activities led by experienced staff who are committed to ensuring every young person feels included and valued.
Whether they want to relax, get active or try something new, Wolf Pack – Youth Hub provides a positive place for young people to grow, connect and make great memories.

Strengthen the Pack is a targeted initiative designed to support young people who would benefit from additional guidance beyond the school environment. Using the power of football and the Wolverhampton Wanderers badge as a motivating force, the programme engages participants in a 4, 8 or 12 week combination of workshops and practical mentoring.
