Our Commitment to Protecting Your Information
Wolves Foundation is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of everyone who engages with our organisation. We collect personal information directly from individuals through voluntary completion of forms, registrations, applications, surveys, evaluations, consent forms and other engagement activities associated with our programmes, services, events and projects.
We only collect information that is necessary to help us deliver our services, support participants, monitor and evaluate the impact of our work, meet contractual, funding, safeguarding, legal and regulatory obligations, and improve future provision. Where consent is the lawful basis for processing, individuals will be provided with clear information regarding how their data will be used and may withdraw their consent where applicable.
All personal information is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the principles set out within the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club Privacy Policy. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are in place to protect data from unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, misuse or alteration. Access to personal information is restricted to those with a legitimate business need to do so and information is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected.
Wolves Foundation maintains data maps and records of processing activities which document the information we collect, the reasons we collect it, the lawful basis for processing, how it is used, who it is shared with, how long it is retained and how it is securely disposed of. These records support our commitment to transparency, accountability and compliance with data protection requirements.
Data protection governance, policies and oversight for Wolves Foundation are provided through Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, which acts as the Data Controller and is responsible for the organisation’s wider data protection framework, privacy arrangements and compliance obligations.
Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Data Commitment
Our Commitment to EDI Data
As part of our commitment to creating an inclusive organisation and ensuring our services are accessible to all communities, Wolves Foundation may invite individuals to voluntarily provide Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) information. This may include information relating to characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010, as well as other diversity-related information used to help us understand who we engage with and identify opportunities to improve inclusion.
Providing EDI information is entirely voluntary and individuals may choose not to answer any or all questions. Where collected, this information helps us evaluate the reach and effectiveness of our programmes, identify and address barriers to participation, monitor equality of opportunity, inform service development, support funding and reporting requirements, and strengthen our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
EDI information is treated with appropriate confidentiality and security and is processed in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club Privacy Policy. Where possible, information is anonymised and/or aggregated for reporting, monitoring and analysis purposes so that individuals cannot be identified. Our data maps and records of processing activities document the EDI information we collect, why it is collected, how it is used, who can access it, how long it is retained and how it is securely disposed of.
