Wolves Foundation are delighted to have received a donation of £16,804 as part of the proceeds from the club’s home pre-season friendlies against Luton and Stade Rennais.

With the support of Wolves, a donation of £1 for every adult ticket sold was donated to the Foundation’s work in delivering over 40 projects to people of all ages and abilities across the city.

“We would like to thank everyone at the club for their work on the initiative and all of the fans who purchased a ticket for the two home friendlies with Luton and Stade Rennais,” says head of Wolves Foundation Will Clowes.

“The final donation is one which will have a really positive impact on the projects which we provide.

“As a charity, fundraising forms a key part of our overall operations, and we are always grateful when we can receive donations as a proportion of sales from areas such as ticketing and retailing.

“We hope the fans can feel a sense of pride, knowing they have contributed to the work of the Foundation, creating opportunities and changing the lives of people across our communities.”

James Davies, head of ticketing at Wolves, added: “All of us at Wolves are always keen to support the excellent work of Wolves Foundation, and being able to factor a donation into our ticket sales for the two friendly games was an ideal opportunity.

“A big thank you to the fans who came and supported the team for the two fixtures, and, in doing so, have also played their part in contributing to the projects delivered by the Foundation in Wolverhampton.”
