The Molineux Sleepout returns for 2026, raising vital funds for Wolves Foundation and Good Shepherd, with the annual challenge now in its eighth year.

Taking place on Friday November 13th, the event will once again see participants spend the night braving the elements and sleeping out in the Stan Cullis Stand at Molineux Stadium, in solidarity with people experiencing homelessness and vulnerability across Wolverhampton.

Since it began, the Molineux Sleepout has raised more than £300,000, helping both charities deliver essential services across the city and support people facing some of the most challenging circumstances.

Kieron Ansell, Head of Business Development, said: “The Molineux Sleepout, to be delivered again alongside our colleagues from the Good Shepherd, is such an important event in our calendar not just because of the vital funds that are raised, but also the issues which are highlighted.

“We know a lot of people across the city are facing challenging times, but what is so special about our community is how people are willing to come together and step up to help each other, and this event is the perfect example.

“It is that selfless generosity which ensures charities like ours are able to continue making such a positive impact, with Wolves Foundation continuing to deliver so many different projects to create opportunities and change the lives of those who we support.

“The annual Sleepout plays a crucial role in that work, and we are all looking forward to another challenging, but special night under the floodlights at Molineux.”

The night attracts returning participants, with many choosing to take part year after year. Sisters Natasha and Neve Bowater, pictured, who are returning to the Sleepout with Dad John, a director of Wolves, said taking part has become an important tradition.

They said: “We’ve lived and grown up in Wolverhampton all our lives and have been Wolves fans since day one. Our first outfit was a Wolves kit, so we know the city really well and feel strongly about giving something back – especially in times like these.

“What’s so powerful about the Sleepout is seeing the community come together, hearing inspirational stories, and holding on to that sense of hope. That’s what keeps us coming back.”

The Molineux Sleepout continues to bring together fans, families, businesses and community groups, all united by a shared commitment to creating positive change across Wolverhampton.

Tom Hayden, Chief Executive Officer at Good Shepherd said:  “We are extremely grateful of our partnership with the Wolves Foundation and the Molineux Sleepout. Now in its eighth year, the event continues to bring people together to raise awareness as well as vital funds to support both charities, including our street homeless outreach and support services.

“Year after year, we’re inspired by the commitment of participants who keep coming back, and the sleepout feels like its own community. It’s an annual event for some people and I always enjoy seeing familiar faces showing real solidarity with people experiencing homelessness and helping us continue our work across the city.”

Tickets for the sleepout are now on sale at an Early Bird discount and group booking discount for schools and businesses is also available.

The Early Bird price is £25 for adults with participants encouraged to raise a minimum of £100 in fundraising.  The price for those aged 13 to 17, who must be accompanied by an adult, is £10.  Anyone interested in the schools or businesses package should email lauracahill@wolves.co.uk.
