Wolves’ Premier League meeting with Sheffield United later this month will be Wolves Foundation’s annual focus fixture, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the club’s official charity.

A range of different activities and fundraising initiatives will be attached to the fixture to shine a light on the work of the Foundation and carry out vital fundraising to support its delivery across Wolverhampton and beyond.

Match by match tickets are already on sale online for the visit of the Blades on Sunday, February 25th (1.30pm kick off) and supporters can donate at the point of sale to support the Foundation.

There will be many other ways for fans to donate in the build-up to the fixture and on the day – including the opportunity to purchase limited edition t-shirts or bid for matchworn shirts – while the hugely popular half time Disability fixture returns with Wolves Under-16s taking on their counterparts from Sheffield United.

“The Annual Focus Fixture is a really important day for the Foundation as it offers a valuable opportunity to showcase the range of work that we deliver as well as carry out some vital fundraising,” explains Kieron Ansell, Business Development Manager with Wolves Foundation.

“We really appreciate the opportunities provided by the club in connection with the fixture, including fans purchasing a match ticket being given the chance to make a donation if they wish.

“There will also be the chance for fans to pick up a replica shirt emblazoned with the Foundation fixture patches, a silent auction taking place in hospitality areas, additional activity around the Fan Zone and a really exciting project around limited edition t-shirts that will be revealed very shortly.

“We are also delighted that the hugely popular Disability fixture will return at half time, which is always such a great spectacle for fans from both clubs and a brilliant example of the work of Foundation staff in making football accessible for all.

“Wolves fans are always fantastic in getting behind the Foundation and supporting our work delivering over 45 projects to people of all ages and abilities across the city, and we are really looking forward to another day of celebration and showing just how much of a difference and positive impact that support can make.”

Foundation staff will also be situated around the Feed Our Pack stand in the Fan Zone before the match chatting about the charity’s work and also raising awareness of the different ways fans can support the Foundation on the day.

The focus fixture also falls on the weekend of the ‘Premier League Supports’ campaign, highlighting the work of football club charities across the country.
